The town named after “Buffalo Bill” Cody has an estimated population of 9,500. Because of its location and ability to draw tourist it has a wide variety of amenities not always available in a place with such a small hometown feel. Some of the amenities include a 18 hole golf course, the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, a world class recreation center (indoor track, indoor pools, racquetball courts, basketball courts, gym, etc.) a ice arena, a nightly rodeo in the summer, great schools, excellent hospital and medical facilities and commercial air service. Both United and Delta offer daily commercial air service to Salt Lake and Denver making it an easy place to get to year round. Cody also offers some of the best dining and shopping in Wyoming. If you can’t find it in this small town there is a good chance you probably don’t need it.
