The Kuiper Ranch has served as a balanced hay and cattle operation for many years producing, on average, 965 tons of mountain meadow hay from 778 irrigated acres. The meadows are irrigated by 86.7 CFS of water rights out of a system of ditches. The current landowners have utilized this property to graze 200 replacement heifers and 200 cow/calf pairs through the summer and 400-500 bred cows in the Fall.

In additional to moose, which can almost always be spotted in the area, elk, antelope, mule deer and migratory birds also frequent the property. Over 4.8 miles of Beaver Creek and one mile of the Roaring Fork meander through the meadows and both offer incredible fishing opportunities for Brown and Rainbow Trout.
