The property backs up to Carter Mountain to the east and faces the Absoraka Mountains to the West. and has historically qualified for landowner elk tags in Area 58. The ranch is located very close to Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone is the oldest park in the U.S. park system and is its flagship. The South Fork located right next to the ranch is one of the most under fished rivers in the Yellowstone area. The South Fork originates in the Washakie Wilderness Area and winds out of the Absoroka Range through almost 25 miles of public land. Other fisheries nearby include Buffalo Bill Reservoir and the North Fork of the Shoshone River.
