The Black Mountain Hunting Property is approximately 15 miles from Highway 14 which traverses the Big Horn Mountains from Sheridan to Shell through beautiful Shell Canyon. To get to the property turn east off of Highway 14 just south of Granite pass onto Forest Service Road 17 and then travel South approximately 13 miles and turn west on Forest Service Road 336. The seller has an easement across private property coming off this scenic road. The property can also be accessed from Trapper Creek Road, or from Hyattville. The elevation on this scenic property ranges from 8300’ to 8800’ above sea level.

According to the owners the property offers excellent elk and mule deer hunting. In fact the owner had a herd with five bulls to choose from this past season right off the front porch. Elk landowner tags are fairly dependable. Moose and black bear also reside on or near the property. The land is surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest and BLM land presenting unlimited hunting and fishing opportunities to a new buyer. The owner has received landowner hunting licenses for Elk.
