Rob was raised on a 5th generation ranch and farming operation in eastern Wyoming. He began his real estate career in 1993 after receiving a B.A. in Political Science, a minor in Wilderness Studies and an emphasis in Public Administration from The University of Montana. From 1993 to 1997, Rob worked as a carpenter. In 1997, Rob and his wife Anne co-founded Castle Construction, Inc. and built custom homes, remodels, and additions. Rob then attended the University of Wyoming School of Law and received his Juris Doctor. After law school, he practiced law in Buffalo for a reputable second generation firm. It was during those years that Rob realized he could utilize his strong ranching and law background, ambition and tireless work ethic to provide exceptional service to his clients and specialize in real estate transactions.

It is Rob's qualifications and experience as a licensed Wyoming attorney that distinguish him from his competition. He is able to draft easements, quiet title, perform property partitions, and solve issues regarding boundary lines, road access, and land locked parcels. He has a developed breadth of experience with complex water rights, mineral rights, adverse use and possession rights, and litigation.

Rob has successfully negotiated over $350 million in land sales; including numerous 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. These transactions all involved complex issues related to water rights, mineral rights, and maneuvering litigation. His experience and knowledge base were instrumental in the success of those transactions. With his attention to detail and impeccable integrity, he has developed a long list of loyal clients who have become treasured friends.

Rob has been civically active in Buffalo, Wyoming and is very proud and happy to live there with his wife Anne and two daughters, Hannah and Morgan. Rob is licensed in Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, California, New Mexico, Utah, and Oregon. When Rob is not engrossed in his profession, he enjoys the gamut of recreation opportunities available in the Rocky Mountain West with his family and friends.
