Recently our Wyoming team gathered together to support the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation at the Buffalo RMEF Chapter's Annual Banquet.

With the help of its partners, RMEF has completed 668 conservation and hunting heritage outrach projects in Wyoming since 1986. Cumulatively, those projects have a combined valued of more than $129.6 million. Through the projects public access has been opened or improved to 151,548 acres and 1,105,360 acres of habitat have been conserved or enhanced.

In April of this year, RMEF awarded $314,629 in grant funding to assit with a variety of projects. Projects included spread from Carbon County to Park County to Sublette County to Sweetwater County. Funds also went towards a statewide effort to sponsor the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Access Yes Program that seeks to secure access for hunters and anglers to private lands across the state.
