Farm 51: Local, Small-Scale Agriculture in Gallatin Valley
Farm 51 & Pfister Land Company

Our new Montana sales associate, Kelly Beevers, recently toured Farm 51. Kelly's office in Bozeman is less than ten minutes from Farm 51, a sustainably managed goat farm in the foothills of the Bridger Mountains.

The herd at Farm 51 consists of Nubian goats bred for milk production and Boers developed for meat production. Owned and run by Chris and Jen Boyer, Farm 51 is one of many small-scale agricultural operations in the Gallatin Valley that provide sustenance to the community while supporting the local economy and maintaining the working-land character of the area.

Across the American West, farmers and ranchers are the backbone of their communities. At Pfister Land Company, we value the hard work, determination, innovation, and stick-to-it-iveness of the farmers and ranches where we live and do business. If you have the opportunity, buy local and support the farmers and ranchers in your community!

Follow Farm 51 on Facebook to keep up with the latest.
