Climate Change

One topic often discussed, rarely agreed upon, yet doubtfully important

There are two sides to every story, and climate change is no exception to this rule. On one side, there is reputable and repeated data saying the climate is changing and the world is warming. For example, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 2007 Report provides scientific evidence of warming trends (Read Full Report), while the Farmers Almanac forecast rising temperatures for 2008 (Visit http://www.almanac.com/ ). On the other side, there are those who argue the validity and significance of the evidence for global warming and its affect on our environment (visit: www.co2science.org/ and http://www.globalwarming.org/).

Regardless of the source of the information, or which side you are on, it is important to become familiar with the information. These issues have the potential to affect all aspects of your life in unforeseeable ways (For example read: "Banks Urged to Address Climate Change"). No matter the line of business your are in or your assumed proximity to this issue, we all pose a certain level of vulnerability to the subject and its waterfall affects. Like it or not, the Climate Change topic is here and has greater staying power and influence than ever before.
